Every file and folder in Workly Drive carries its own audit trail. The Info panel shows you details, who has access, and the full history of actions on the item.
Open the Info panel
- Select an item
- Click the Info button in the selection action bar
The Info panel slides in from the side and contains three tabs.
Details tab
The Details tab shows:
- Name and type
- Size — formatted in B / KB / MB / GB / TB
- Owner
- Created date
- Modified date
Sharing tab
See every direct share on the item — by user, project, or workspace — with the current permission level (View or Edit). This is the same data the Share dialog shows, in a read-only summary.
Activity tab
The Activity tab is a chronological log of everything that has happened to the item. Events captured include:
- Created
- Uploaded
- Renamed
- Moved
- Copied
- Trashed
- Restored
- Permanently deleted
- Starred / Unstarred
- Shared / Unshared
Each event includes the timestamp and, where applicable, who performed it.
When the Info panel is useful
- Auditing who shared what and when
- Confirming a file’s owner before requesting changes
- Tracing a misplaced file’s history (was it moved? renamed?)
