Workly sends notifications to keep you informed about important updates. You can customise exactly which events trigger notifications so you stay focused without missing anything critical.
Access notification settings
- Click your avatar in the bottom-left corner
- Select Preferences
- Navigate to the Notifications section
General notifications
- Desktop notifications — Enable or disable browser push notifications
- Sound — Toggle notification sounds on or off
- Mention-only mode — Only receive notifications when you’re directly mentioned
Chat notifications
Control notifications for messaging events:
- Channel messages — New messages in channels you’ve joined
- Direct messages — New private messages
- Group messages — New messages in group conversations
- Mentions — When someone @mentions you
- Replies — Replies to your messages or threads you’re in
- Reactions — When someone reacts to your message
Task notifications
Control notifications for task events:
- Task assignments — When a task is assigned to you
- Task changes — Status, priority, or other property changes
- Task deletions — When tasks are deleted
- Task completions — When tasks are marked as done
- Due date reminders — Reminders before task deadlines

- Incoming calls — When someone starts a call you’re invited to

Reset to defaults
Click Reset to Defaults at the bottom of the preferences page to restore all notification settings to their default values.

How do I turn off all chat notifications?
