The calendar view in Workly plots your tasks on a calendar based on their due dates. It’s the best way to visualise deadlines, plan your team’s schedule, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
How it works
Tasks with due dates appear on the calendar on their deadline day. Tasks are colour-coded by priority or status, making it easy to spot urgent items and understand your workload distribution.
Monthly and weekly views
Switch between monthly and weekly views to see the level of detail you need. The monthly view gives a broad overview, while the weekly view shows more detail per day.
Unscheduled tasks sidebar
Tasks without due dates appear in the Unscheduled Tasks sidebar on the right. Drag tasks from the sidebar onto a calendar date to assign a due date. This makes it easy to schedule unplanned work.
Create tasks from the calendar
Click any date on the calendar to create a new task with that date as the due date. This is a quick way to plan work for specific days.
Move task dates
Drag a task from one date to another to reschedule it. The due date updates automatically.
User calendar
Workly also provides a personal calendar view that shows all tasks assigned to you across all projects. This gives you a unified view of your personal deadlines and commitments.
