Record a voice message
- Open any channel or direct message
- Click the microphone icon in the message input area
- Grant microphone permission if prompted by your browser
- Start speaking — the recording indicator shows the duration
- Click Send to send the voice message, or Cancel to discard it
Playback
Voice messages appear as audio players in the chat. Recipients can:
- Play and pause the recording
- See the duration of the recording
- Scrub through the audio timeline
