Workly organises your work into organisations and workspaces. An organisation is the top-level container (your company), and workspaces are separate spaces within it (teams, departments, or clients).
Create a new workspace
- Click your workspace name in the sidebar
- Select Add Workspace
- Enter a workspace name and description
- Click Create
Each workspace has its own projects, channels, members, and settings — keeping different teams or work contexts separate.
Join a public workspace
Public workspaces are visible to all members of the organisation. To join one:
- Browse the list of available public workspaces
- Click Join on the workspace you want to enter
Once you join, you’ll have access to all public projects and channels within that workspace.
Invite users to a workspace
Bring your team members into a workspace:
- Go to workspace settings
- Click Invite Members
- Enter their email addresses
- Choose their role
- Send the invitation
Invited users receive an email with a link to join the workspace. They can accept the invitation to gain access.
Switch between workspaces
Click the workspace switcher in the sidebar to see all your workspaces. Click on any workspace to switch to it. Each workspace maintains its own state — your last viewed project, channel, and position are remembered.
